After The Change

November 1st marks my anniversary of my Brokerage change.

This change was more than a brokerage move - it was a lifestyle change, a way to do business change.  It changed everything.

I had been with a large national brokerage for 14 years - born and raised as a Realtor there. I knew nothing else. The change was scary, but in my heart I knew it needed to be done.

Guess what I learned, The number one thing I learned is, your success comes for within - and nowhere else.

It comes from your mindset - your ambition - your desire and your passion. I have found we can give too much credit or control to others for making our life or business great, when really all along it is us that drives the car, sets the speed and course and it is us that chooses to follow it (or not). I have learned giving control to others means we never really did have control of our destiny and then we walk a shaky ground that can fall apart at any given time.

I have found for myself - less is more - let me explain

I do not need 50 different tools to do my job well - I just need a few that work well for me and then I need to really use them.

I do not need 5 or more people telling what to do and where to go - I need one good accountability partner -

I do not need every listing on the block to feel successful - I need to know what success means to me and then do that!

I do not need everyone to like me - I just need to surround myself with positive people that are like minded who will enrich my life.

This year I have changed, I went through major change personally and professionally and at the close of the one year mark I will have the best Real Estate team ever! It did not come without trial and error, it did not come with its own set of failures, it did not come without tears.

It did, however mark one of the most successful years of my life, professionally thus far. Success = Happiness

I am grateful for my past, I very happy with my present and have clear vision of the future, with a team that ROCKs my world!

2016 was change - 2017 will be an awesome year for The Gordon Group Gr  - CHEERS!
